The administration of union territory of Jammu and Kashmir this week booked former Jammu and Kashmir chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah under the Public Security Act (PSA).The two were booked under PSA six months after they were detained and put under house arrest, just before the Union government revoked erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir's special status by abrogating Article 370 of the Indian Constitution on August 5 last year. The state was subsequently bifurcated into two union territories of J&K and Ladakh on October 31.

Details have now emerged about the PSA dossier against Mehbooba Mufti, the chief of the Jammu Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party which led the last government in the state along with the BJP.

The PSA dossier against the PDP chief states that she was trying to "collaborate with separatists" in the Valley. The dossier, accessed by English daily The Hindu, also refers to her alleged public remarks against the Army and pro-terrorist tweets.

According to the dossier, there were confidential reports about the PDP chief trying to establish contact with separatists.

Referring to her tweets, the PSA dossier says Mufti had given a call for "dignity to militants (terrorists) after death" while alleging that the Army had used chemical weapons against terrorists.

The dossiers also list out the statements given by the two former CMs against the Union government over Article 370 and 35A, both of which provided special privileges to J&K and its residents.
